Raiffeisen Bank Intl H1 after-tax profit in Albania up 20.9%

Raiffeisen Bank International (RBI) said on Wednesday its after-tax profit from operations in Albania rose to 25 million euro ($31.3 million) in the first half of 2012 from 20 million euro a year ago.

In the second quarter alone, the profit rose to 11 million euro from 6.0 million euro a year earlier, the lender said in its first-half financial report. RBI posted a 13 million euro after-tax profit in the first quarter of this year.
