This week we expect new government to be formed

17.10.2016 11:13:00 | Autor/Izvor RBA analitičari, Croatia

As it was announced, the first session of the new Parliament was held on Friday and during the days ahead we expect the new Croatian Government to be formed.

The end of the week behind us also brought the CPI release for September which confirmed deflationary environment but at a slower pace (-0.9% yoy). Compared to the previous month, inflation rate measured by CPI rose by 1.1% mom, primarily thanks to prices of clothing and footwear which increased by 17.4% mom and 1.7% yoy respectively. Over the upcoming months we expect negative CPI rates on annual basis to be retained, continuously supported by further deflationary pressures from abroad.
