Only one Serbian investment in Croatia

24.11.2010 12:00:00 | Autor/Izvor PressCuttadic, investments, galeb, delta, swisslion, bilateral relations,Croatia,Serbia

Despite the fact that they submitted the most favourable tenders, Galeb Group and Delta were not able to invest in Croatia. Serbian entrepreneurs claim that they are faced with numerous obstacles when trying to place their products on the Croatian market. Swisslion-Takovo is the only Serbia company that has managed to buy a Croatian company.

Serbian businessmen believe that the visit of President Tadic to Croatia is the perfect opportunity to address the issue. On the other hand, the investments of Croatian companies in Serbia amount to EUR 500m, which means that they are 25 times higher than Serbian investments to Croatia.
